Don’t hesitate to come here, amazing and fresh sushi with at home vibes. The service was exceptional and the Miso soup was delicious and comfy - perfect for the cold weather. Both the lady and the gentleman exude kindness. Hidden gem for sure!

Wow! I had never come across this little hidden gem. The sushi was exceptional - extremely fresh and tasty- despite the price point which is very reasonable. The place is small but charming and the owners and chef are just lovely. This is now going to be my go to sushi place going forward!!

It was a quiet night and some if my sashimi was a tad cold, but everything was deliscious. The two owners were very kind and patient to my questions. Highly reccomend the red dragon roll. Music was pleasant and just the right volume. All the sushi is made to order.

Hands-down my favourite sushi place in Toronto!! This is a new spot and the owners are the loveliest and kindest people. Their prices are super affordable (around $10 per roll!), especially for downtown Toronto, and the quality is amazing. The owners said they wanted to keep prices low so that lots of people can enjoy their food but business has been slow. I eat here at least once a week and they’ve given me miso soup and sometimes extra pieces of sushi just because. Support a local small business - such a hidden gem like the other reviews say.

I stopped by Kinson in the Bathurst and Dundas area and ordered the Sushi Roll Tray B, and wow — this place is a hidden gem! Even though I forgot to take pictures, every roll looked beautiful and tasted even better. The fish quality was top notch — super fresh, buttery, and clean-tasting. You can tell they take pride in using high-quality ingredients. The portions were generous too, definitely more filling than I expected. What really made the experience stand out was how friendly everyone was. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. The chef even came out to say hello, which gave the whole experience such a personal touch. That combination of hospitality and excellent sushi really sets Kinson apart. If you’re looking for fresh, well-portioned sushi with service that makes you feel like family, I can’t recommend Kinson enough. I’ll definitely be coming back (and next time I’ll remember to snap some photos!).
